Reggae in Osaka’s Nishi-Umeda Park on Oct 25 — HISATOMI, NG HEAD and more at Autumn Reggae Breeze 2026

A park in the heart of Umeda will sway to reggae as the autumn sun goes down. The outdoor reggae event “Autumn Reggae Breeze 2026” will be held at Re:EDGE PARK Nishi-Umeda (Nishi-Umeda Park) in Umeda, Osaka, on Sunday, October 25, 2026. It closes out the final day of “RE:EDGE PARK NISHI-UMEDA ‘AUTUMN PARK FES’,” a three-day event in Nishi-Umeda starting October 23, with four hours of live sets from 16:00 to 20:00 by artists based mainly in Osaka.

Seven acts that have powered Osaka’s reggae scene

Five acts appear as GUEST DEEJAYs. Osaka-based HISATOMI’s first album reached No. 1 on the iTunes reggae chart, and his song “MY DREAM” has been played about 3 million times on YouTube. Osaka-born NG HEAD founded BIG BANG CREW at 17 and has performed with artists across genres, including KREVA and ZEEBRA. ARM STRONG, who started out in the Senshu area of southern Osaka, joined Ragalabo MUSIQ and has released three albums so far.

STEREON, a singer from northern Osaka, went solo after 55LEVEL and launched his own label. Sho Yokogawa, based in Nagasaki, comes from the Kansai unit N-O2; in 2024 the school song he wrote for Wakayama Nanryo High School became a talking point on social media.

As GUEST SOUND, the lineup includes RODEM CYCLONE, who has kept up the regular dance night “RICE & PEACE” at the Osaka club I to I, and JUNTA from ROB STAR, who plays events across Japan as a member of ROB STAR.

During the live sets, the area in front of the stage becomes a reggae-only zone, and entry requires a ¥3,500 (tax included) ticket. It includes one drink, and you get a wristband when you check in. Advance tickets are on sale at Ticket Pia.

Food trucks and a market from midday, plus a free stage

Outside the reggae-only zone, entry is free. From 11:00, food trucks and market stalls line the venue. Along with meals such as Jamaican food, jerk chicken, roast beef rice bowls and hamburgers, there are sweets like Blue Seal ice cream, sweet potato balls and almond jelly.

For shopping, DISSIDENT, an Amerikamura-based shop selling streetwear closely tied to music such as reggae, hip-hop and rock, will open a pop-up. A shop selling candles and other goods is also planned. Before the reggae live sets begin, the stage will host kids’ dance, a hands-on “rhythm training” program and singer-songwriter performances, all free to watch or join. Food and the free stage with the family in the daytime, live music from the evening — being able to switch how you enjoy it by time of day is what makes this event easy to drop into.
