This Christmas, step away from the city lights and into the forest of Ise-Shima. GLAMP DOME Ise Kashikojima, a glamping site in Shima, Mie Prefecture, holds a winter-only event, “Noël en Forêt – Christmas in the Forest,” from Friday, November 13 to Friday, December 25, 2026. The site is run by CES RESORT, the resort brand of Osaka-based CS Peak Co., Ltd.. The start date may shift depending on the weather.
The highlight: a Christmas Room for just two parties a night
“Noël en Forêt” is French for “Christmas in the Forest.” The main attraction is the Christmas Room, a guest room decorated from end to end in a Christmas theme, so that the mood begins the moment you open the door. It comes in two colors, red and pink.
The rooms are the Standard 2-Bed and the Standard 4-Bed, and only one of each is sold as a Christmas Room, so just two parties can stay per night. Each room comes with Christmas decorations and an assortment of sweets. A 2-bed room suits a trip for two, and a 4-bed room suits a group of friends.
