The title says it all: “Omoshiro Kansaijin” (“Funny Kansai People”). Manzai duo Kuroobi will hold a solo live at Yoshimoto Manzai Gekijo in Osaka on Thursday, December 3, 2026. With the show starting at 21:00, it looks like a good way to end the day with a long laugh.
A “best of manzai” picked from this year’s routines
For this solo live, the duo will present a selection of manzai (Japanese stand-up comedy in pairs) chosen from the routines they wrote in 2026. In his comment, Terauchi says they wrote a huge amount of manzai this year, hinting at his confidence. Ohnishi calls out to fans in Kansai dialect: “Come see lots of our manzai! Thank you!”
Kuroobi have held a solo live about once a year at Yoshimoto Manzai Gekijo, and this year’s edition comes round in December.
From the M-1 semifinals to winning “Zaoh”: a duo on the rise
Kuroobi reached the semifinals and the wild-card repechage at “M-1 Grand Prix 2025”, and advanced to the finals tournament of “THE SECOND – Manzai Tournament 2026”. They are also active as individuals: Ohnishi won the Kansai TV show “Zaoh”, and Terauchi serves as leader and producer of “Manretsu”, a comedian idol unit.
After building their reputation in these competitions, the two will bring a year of polished routines together on one stage — a chance not to be missed if you want to watch manzai at length.
The Tokyo show is on December 9 at Lumine the Yoshimoto
The same show will also be held on Wednesday, December 9 at Lumine the Yoshimoto in Tokyo. It is the third solo live there, and the first in about two years since “Neta Sabotte n’ja ne’e yo” in August 2024. An online streaming ticket is available for the Tokyo show.
