Kansai campers get a new Snow Peak stop at the outlet mall. Outdoor maker Snow Peak will open a directly operated store, “Snow Peak Kobe-Sanda Premium Outlets”, inside Kobe-Sanda Premium Outlets in Kita-ku, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, on Friday, November 20, 2026.
From tents to apparel, plus outlet items
The store will carry camping gear such as tents, tarps and furniture, and apparel under the “HOME⇄CAMP” concept, along with outlet items. The company says the range is meant for campers and also for anyone who wants to bring the comfort of the outdoors into daily life.
The store covers about 80 tsubo (roughly 264 m²), so there should be room to compare gear and look for everyday clothes at the same time.
A handy stop on the way to or from Minoh, Arima and Rokko
Kobe-Sanda Premium Outlets is one of western Japan’s largest outlet malls, with about 210 stores. Its open-air layout is inspired by the streets of Pasadena, California, and it is about 30 minutes by car from Shin-Kobe Station. It is one of Kansai’s leading sightseeing and leisure areas.
Snow Peak says the store is easy to reach from its own campground, “Snow Peak Minoh Shizenkan Camp Field”, and aims to be a place campers can drop in on the way to or from a camping trip. It is also about 30 minutes by car from Arima Onsen and close to popular spots such as the Rokko area, so the company hopes visitors will feel the joy of time spent outdoors while sightseeing or traveling. It could also work as a place to pick up anything you need before heading to the campsite.
Opening gift: a limited sierra cup with the store name and opening date
To mark the opening, customers who spend ¥30,000 or more (tax included) will receive a limited-edition sierra cup (a camping cup), laser-marked with the store name and opening date. Quantities are limited and the offer ends when they run out. If you plan to go on opening day, keep your budget in mind.
