Kyoto-born interior brand Re:CENO has finally arrived in Umeda. On Friday, November 6, 2026, “Re:CENO Osaka” opened on the 7th floor of LUCUA Ire, the shopping mall directly connected to JR Osaka Station. It is the brand’s first store in Osaka and its seventh in Japan.
About one minute on foot from Osaka Station, with the shop visible through the windows
The store is on the east side of the 7th floor, right next to the elevators. It is about a 1-minute walk from the Central Exit of JR Osaka Station and about 2 minutes from the North Ticket Gate of Osaka Metro Umeda Station. Walking along the 2nd-floor concourse of Osaka Station, you can see the sales floor through the 7th-floor windows.
It is also Re:CENO’s first store in a shopping mall in the Kansai region — its second in Kansai after the Kyoto store, and its first opening there in 13 years. For us, it is good news that there is now a place in Umeda where you can drop in on furniture between shopping trips.
Seven room scenes divided by walls and arches
The floor covers about 61 tsubo (204 m²). Walls and arched openings divide it into seven room scenes, including a living room and a dining room. You can picture a room at a realistic scale and with realistic distances between pieces.
On display are more than 60 types of furniture and more than 200 types of interior goods. The popular “AGRA” sofa series is shown in the living room, and the “folk” dining series in every color, so you can try how they sit and feel. The bedroom scene includes a bed and curtains, and by the window you can see how the fabric looks in natural light. The store also offers a service that proposes room coordination in 3D based on your own floor plan.
A special focus is the “Vintage Red” area. Vintage Red is a popular Re:CENO color — a modern take on Scandinavian vintage — in which reddish wood adds depth to a room. The styling here even matches art and cushion colors to the furniture.
The walls also carry many original art posters, developed from Re:CENO’s own color theory “Harmonic Colors,” along with mirrors, so you can see how a wall might be decorated at actual size.
A first-ever lighting display table and winter store exclusives
The goods section centers on three display tables themed on Christmas, lighting and tableware. The lighting table is a first for any Re:CENO store, and the portable light “Frelia” is shown in every type.
The Christmas table has two original Christmas art prints, faux greenery and ornaments. Store exclusives include a LAPUAN KANKURIT hot-water bottle and a polar-bear coin bank wearing a blue scarf (the scarf is for this winter only). New cushion covers are shown early, and there is a blanket corner. Gift wrapping in original Christmas paper costs ¥220, and Christmas cards are given out while supplies last until Friday, December 25.
Opening campaign: 10% point-back and a choice of gifts
For purchases at the Osaka store from Friday, November 6 to Tuesday, November 17, points are returned at a flat 10% on everything, regardless of membership rank and including new members (the special points are credited later). From Friday, November 6 to Sunday, November 8, LUCUA member card points are also multiplied by five.
The first 120 customers can also choose a gift according to their total (tax included). One gift per purchase; receipts cannot be combined.
