Hyogo’s harvest comes to JR Osaka Station — “Minori Minoru Marche” with ¥200 Tajima green pepper grab on Oct 18

Autumn flavors from Hyogo, right inside Osaka Station. On Sunday, October 18, 2026, JA Zen-Noh Hyogo holds “Minori Minoru Marche: Hyogo’s Harvest” at the Atrium Plaza on the 2nd floor of JR Osaka Station North Gate Building. The star attraction is a “Tajima green pepper grab” for ¥200 (tax included) a try.

Tamba-Sasayama black soybeans, chestnuts and Awaji onions

The marche is part of a regional-promotion partnership between JA Zen-Noh and JR-West that introduces farm products and specialties from around Japan. This edition is all about Hyogo Prefecture: Tamba-Sasayama black edamame (kuro-edamame), Tamba-Sasayama chestnuts, Awaji Island onions, Tajima green peppers, BE KOBE vegetables (komatsuna) and more are planned.

Tamba-Sasayama black soybeans and chestnuts are true autumn flavors, and many people in Kansai feel the season just hearing the names. The appeal here is picking them up and choosing in person, inside the station.

The highlight: Tajima green pepper grab for ¥200

The event’s main attraction is the “Tajima green pepper grab” (tsume-houdai, where you pack as many as you can into a bag). It costs ¥200 (tax included) per try. It is the kind of game where you quickly get serious about how much you can fit in, so it should be fun for families and friends.

Buy two items and get a pack of “Kenmin Yaki Bifun”

There is also a bonus for shoppers. Buy two or more items including a qualifying product and you get one pack of “Kenmin Yaki Bifun” from the sponsor, Kenmin Foods Co., Ltd. Qualifying products are Awaji Island onions, green peppers (the grab) and komatsuna. One pack per transaction, limited quantity, while supplies last.
