Autumn outlet shopping is heating up in Sanda. At Kobe-Sanda Premium Outlets in Kita-ku, Kobe, new shops including Agnès b., Kaneko Optical and Snow Peak are opening one after another. There are 11 in total — six permanent and five pop-up — including some already open. Here we focus on what is happening from late October onward.
Agnès b. opens a permanent shop at the end of October
The date to watch is Friday, October 30. Agnès b., the French casual brand from Paris, opens a permanent shop in unit 2015. Known for clothes that put comfort and cut first, the brand has deep ties with art, film and music, and also works on environmental protection, such as supporting the ocean research schooner Tara.
On the same day, the British label Studio Nicholson, led by designer Nick Wakeman, arrives in unit 2815 as a pop-up running until Sunday, January 24, 2027. Starting from textiles, it offers everyday clothing in minimal shapes that recall architecture.

Before that, on Saturday, October 24, the golf apparel brand Mark & Lona opens a permanent shop in unit 810. Until Sunday, November 8, an opening sale is planned: 10% off when you buy two eligible items and 15% off for three or more. The first 50 customers spending ¥110,000 or more will also receive a novelty gift.
From Friday, October 16, Fred Perry, born in London in 1952, starts a pop-up in unit 1310 (until January 31, 2027). The pop-up of Mackage, an outerwear brand founded in Montreal in 1999, which opened on Friday, October 2 in unit 405, continues until Monday, January 11, 2027 (a national holiday). Just as people start looking for a coat, more choice in outerwear is welcome.
Kaneko Optical and Snow Peak in November
On Thursday, November 5, Kaneko Optical, founded in 1958 in Sabae, Fukui Prefecture, opens a permanent shop in unit 2150. It is a directly run shop selling Japanese-made eyewear produced in the company’s own factories. To celebrate the opening, customers who buy a complete pair of glasses (frames and lenses) will receive a lens cleaner (while supplies last).

In late November, Snow Peak, the outdoor brand from Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture, plans to open a permanent shop in unit 2040. It makes camping gear and apparel, and its corporate message is “Bring outdoor play into your life.”

Shops already open include the hair care brand Lovechrome (unit 410, until January 31, 2027), the lifestyle brand Sea Room lynn (unit 2815, until October 25), and the doughnut shop Wonder Donut, which has opened permanently in a kiosk on East Street (all three are opening at a Premium Outlets for the first time). 1er Arrondissement (unit 2020), opening a permanent outlet shop for the first time, also joined in September. Opening and closing dates may shift, so check the outlet’s official website before you go.
