Spring in Kansai will begin on the runway at Kyocera Dome Osaka. “KANSAI COLLECTION,” born in Osaka in February 2011 and billed as one of Japan’s largest fashion events, spreading Japanese culture from Kansai to the world, has set the date for its next show: KANSAI COLLECTION 2027 SPRING & SUMMER on Tuesday, February 23, 2027 (a national holiday). The first batch of performers has also been announced.
Theme: “Spring has sprung!”
The theme is “Spring has sprung!” The organizers promise surprises that will make hearts race at the start of a new season. Planned content includes a fashion show, artist live performances, talk shows and booths.
Hiromitsu Kitayama’s first live set at the show; CLASS SEVEN returns
The first name to catch the eye is Hiromitsu Kitayama (HIROMITSU KITAYAMA) of the agency TOBE. He has widened his range as a solo artist this year, including a live tour of 17 shows in 12 cities, “ULTRActi:on.” This will be his first live stage at KANSAI COLLECTION.
The seven-member group CLASS SEVEN, a junior act from the same agency that won the “Asia Rising Star Artist Award” this year, will also appear. They performed their debut song “miss you” and others when they first appeared in April this year, so this will be their second time on the stage.
The rock band Young Skinny makes its first appearance at the event. Known for viral hits such as “Honto wa ne,” and “Setsugetsuka,” the band has won strong support from Gen Z, mainly on social media. A new drummer joined after a recent audition, so they appear in a new lineup.
Runway: Seishiro Kato, Miyuki Watanabe, Baku Ideue and more
Models and guests include Seishiro Kato, Miyuki Watanabe, Miru Shiroma, Maria Makino, Miku Sasaki, Danta Imai and Baku Ideue. Also appearing are Mona of the retro-horror idol group Phantom Sheeta (produced by Ado), MON7A, a Gen Z culture icon, and creators Yurinya and Himahima. More performers will be announced as they are decided.

Sales run in stages. The presale via the official LINE account runs from 10:00 on Saturday, October 24 to 23:59 on Friday, November 6; the Lawson Ticket presale runs from 10:00 on Saturday, November 7 to 23:59 on Friday, November 20; and general sales begin at 10:00 on Saturday, November 21. Where to buy will be announced on the official website. Quantities are limited, and day-of tickets are undecided, so the organizers recommend buying in advance.
