Umeda is getting three weeks of wearable art this autumn and winter. “HERALBONY HEARTDEMIC,” a limited-time event by HERALBONY, the brand that brings art created by artists with disabilities to society, runs from Saturday, October 31 to Friday, November 20, 2026 at “Pop Up Circus” on the 3rd floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store.
The theme: “the spread of heartbeats and kindness”
This season’s theme is “Heartdemic — the spread of heartbeats and kindness,” and the event creates a space where fashion and art resonate. The motif to look for is “♡♡♡ (Triple Heart),” a symbol of three linked hearts. Casual wear featuring it will be on sale alongside high-quality apparel that reproduces the artworks as they are using traditional craft techniques.
A large scarf with the art knitted in
The “Heart Big Scarf” (¥33,000) expresses the artist’s work and the symbol in a knit pattern. The colorful art is knitted into the fabric, and a soft brushed finish gives a warm, gentle feel. It looks like a good way to add color around the neck as the weather cools.
Everyday hoodies and pullovers
The “Hoodie” (¥25,300) and “Pullover” (¥20,900) are made of bonded double-knit fabric, with a firm structure and soft feel that are both sporty and refined. The “♡♡♡ (Triple Heart)” logo is embroidered in relief on the chest.
Art reproduced as is, by hand screen printing and jacquard weaving
Some items turn the artwork itself into clothing. The “Jacket ‘Gakufu (Musical Score)’” (¥41,800) and “Pants ‘Gakufu’” (¥36,300) set is hand screen printed. The side seams of the front are moved to the back so the artwork is printed at its original size without a break, and the notes are overprinted to give depth. The result is said to let you feel the rhythm of the art even by touch.
The “Coat” (¥165,000) is an overcoat made of jacquard fabric, in which the picture is woven directly into the cloth. To convey the power of the work, the art fills the full 180 cm fabric width without repeating, woven as a single picture. This item is due to arrive in mid-November.
Custom charms in a limited run of 70
The “Custom Charm Set” (¥9,350 each) is limited to 70 sets. You can freely combine a three-dimensional heart-shaped carabiner with a chain, logo, initial and cord strap, and choose one carabiner color. With so few available, an early visit looks safest.
